Faith Evangelical Church is proud to be the birthplace of the H.I.S. Care Ministry which was established to help one another within our Church and our community. The focus of this ministry is to help families with special concerns, those needing support on a short-term basis due to illness or recovery from surgery, and ministering to the long-term needs of a family with someone who is disabled or has a terminal condition. "H" stands for HOSPITALITY meaning visiting sut-ins, providing meals for those recovering from surgery or injury and sending cards of encouragement for those on the prayer list. "I" stands for INTERCESSION simply meaning the people of this ministry will pray daily for the needs for which they have been made aware. "S" stands for SERVICE. This special group of people want to help in any way possible. Help by running errands, doing housework, or yard work for anyone physically disabled, setting with someone while their primary caregiver is able to relax for a short time.
